Green Pepper SteakĀ

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup green pepper diced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Cut steak into 1/8 inch thick slices against the grain
  2. Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger
  3. Heat oil on high in large frying pan and add add steak
  4. Slowly add vegetables and sauce mix and cook covered for 10 minutes or until tender
  5. Mix corn starch with water and add to pan until sauce is thickened
  6. Serve over cooked noodles or rice
